Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel, marking the beginning of your journey.
Embark on a guided tour of the Kathmandu Valley, delving into its rich cultural and historical heritage. Spend the day exploring the city’s landmarks and immersing yourself in its vibrant atmosphere.
Take an hour-long domestic flight to Nepalgunj, a city in the Terai region. Upon arrival, you’ll have time to prepare for the adventure that lies ahead.
Fly to Jhupal, situated at approximately 2,320 meters, and from there, trek to Dunai, which stands at around 2,850 meters. The journey introduces you to the transition from the lowlands to the Himalayan foothills.
Today, you’ll trek from Dunai to Tarakot, a picturesque route that covers a variety of landscapes. The day’s journey will take approximately 6 hours.
Your trek from Tarakot to Laini involves a gradual ascent, reaching approximately 3,160 meters. Along the way, explore remote villages and encounter unique flora and fauna during the 7-hour hike.
Trek from Laini to Nawarpani, where you’ll be rewarded with captivating mountain views at an altitude of about 3,545 meters. The day’s journey will take approximately 6 hours.
Arrive in Do Tarap, a high-altitude destination at about 4,090 meters. Immerse yourself in the cultural tapestry of the Dolpo region during an 8-hour trek.
This day is reserved for acclimatization to the higher altitudes, providing an opportunity to engage with the local culture and community.
Trek to the Numa La Base Camp, preparing for the challenge of crossing the pass. The day’s journey will take about 6-7 hours.
Conquer the formidable Numa La Pass and continue to Baga La Base Camp, with the day ending at Tang village. This challenging day on the trail will take approximately 6-7 hours.
After traversing the Baga La Pass, your journey leads to Dajok Tang at an altitude of about 4,080 meters. The day’s trek will take about 6 hours.
Trek to Ringmo, the gateway to Phoksundo Lake, taking in the breathtaking scenery at an altitude of around 3,600 meters. The day’s journey will take approximately 4 hours.
Embark on a trek to the tranquil Shey Phuksundo Lake, a place of pristine beauty nestled at an altitude of 3,600 meters. Take your time to soak in the serene surroundings and the crystal-clear waters of the lake.
Leaving the tranquil shores of Phoksundo Lake, you’ll trek to Shyanta. This journey leads you through lush forests and captivating landscapes, and it will take approximately 6 hours to reach Shyanta, situated at around 2,520 meters.
Conclude the trek by returning to Jhupal. As you walk, take a moment to reflect on your incredible journey through Dolpo. The day’s trek will span approximately 6 hours.
Morning flights take you back to Nepalgunj and then to Kathmandu. Transition from the rugged terrain of your trek to the vibrant city atmosphere of Kathmandu.
