Embark on a picturesque 7-hour drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche. The journey offers glimpses of rural life and scenic landscapes, preparing you for the transition from city bustle to the serene Langtang region.

A 5-hour trek through lush forests and traditional villages brings you to Syabru Village. The terraced fields and vibrant local culture provide an authentic experience, marking the beginning of your adventure in the Langtang Valley.

Trek for approximately 6 hours through dense forests, reaching Lama Hotel. Surrounded by the tranquility of the Himalayan wilderness, Lama Hotel offers a peaceful overnight stop amidst nature’s beauty.

Ascend to 3307 meters during a 6-hour trek, unveiling breathtaking views. Passing through traditional villages, the trail opens up to panoramic vistas, with Langtang village nestled against the backdrop of towering mountains.

Traverse the trail to Kyangjing Gompa, taking around 6 hours. The route offers glimpses of Tibetan-style villages, and reaching an altitude of 3800 meters, Kyangjing Gompa unveils its spiritual and cultural significance.

A day of rest in Kyangjing allows for exploration and relaxation. The approximate walking hours are minimal, providing an opportunity to visit Yala Peak, acclimatize to the altitude, and prepare for the upcoming challenges.

The trek to Ganjala Base Camp involves approximately 6 hours of walking through alpine landscapes. As you ascend to an altitude of 4900 meters, the surroundings become more rugged, and the air thinner. The base camp provides a strategic starting point for the challenging ascent ahead, surrounded by pristine mountain wilderness.

Descending further, the trek back to Lama Hotel spans around 6 hours. The trek to Shyabrubensi takes approximately 6 hours, leading you through the varied landscapes of the Langtang region. The descent brings you to lower altitudes, and the surroundings become lusher. Shyabrubensi, at 1462 meters, marks the end of the mountainous terrain, and the transition to a more temperate climate is evident.

The journey back to Kathmandu by bus takes around 9 hours, providing time for reflection on the expedition.
