Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel. This day allows you to rest and recover from your journey and prepare for the upcoming adventure.
Today, you’ll receive a warm welcome, go through a gear check, and complete necessary expedition formalities. This ensures that all equipment is in order and you’re fully prepared for the expedition ahead.
This day is dedicated to collecting the required Tibet visa and receiving a comprehensive expedition briefing, covering all aspects of the journey.
You’ll board a flight to Lhasa, Tibet, and you’ll be transferred to your hotel upon arrival. This marks the beginning of your ascent into higher altitudes.
A scenic drive to Shigatse lets you get acclimatized gradually while enjoying the stunning Tibetan landscapes.
Continuing your journey by road, you’ll reach Old Thingri, a strategic stop for acclimatization.
This day is dedicated to acclimatization and rest, ensuring your body adapts to the increasing altitude.
A drive to the Cho Oyu Chinese Base Camp via the picturesque Rombuk Monastery offers breathtaking views and prepares you for the ascent.
These days are spent at the Chinese Base Camp for further acclimatization and preparation.
You’ll proceed to the Cho Oyu Base Camp, getting closer to the mountain you aim to conquer.
Another essential rest day at Cho Oyu Base Camp for further acclimatization.
You’ll embark on a trek to the Intermediate Camp, gradually ascending towards the mountain.
This extended period is dedicated to the challenging climb from Advance Base Camp to the summit of Cho Oyu, a demanding endeavor that requires meticulous planning and endurance.
After reaching the summit, you’ll descend to the Cho Oyu Base Camp, marking the successful completion of your climb.
