Starting in Kathmandu, the journey takes you to Dhunche, where a scenic drive sets the stage for an awe-inspiring trek. Wander through diverse landscapes, from lush forests to alpine terrain, and witness the sacred Gosaikunda lakes. The challenge peaks at Laurebina Pass (4,610m) before descending into picturesque villages. Cultural encounters with welcoming locals enhance the experience. The trek concludes with a return to Kathmandu, leaving trekkers with lasting memories of Nepal’s Himalayan beauty.

Welcome to Nepal! Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Settle in and take some time to relax or explore the bustling streets of Thamel. No trekking today—just rest and get ready for the journey ahead.

Enjoy a full-day guided city tour of the Kathmandu Valley. Visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath Stupa. Today is all about cultural immersion—no trekking or distance to cover, just inspiration and beauty.

Drive Distance: ~120 km | Drive Time: 7–8 hours

Today begins with a scenic drive through winding mountain roads and river valleys as you head north to Thulo Syabru, a picturesque Tamang village surrounded by forested hills and terraced fields. A restful night prepares you for trekking tomorrow.

Begin your ascent through dense pine and rhododendron forests toward Sing Gumba, home to a beautiful monastery and herbal medicine center. The gradual climb rewards you with stunning views of the Langtang range.

Trek Distance: ~11 km | Trek Time: 5–6 hours

The trail leads upward through enchanting forests and open meadows. As you approach Cholang Pati, the air gets cooler and the landscape more alpine, offering dramatic views of the surrounding peaks.

Today is one of the trek’s highlights. You’ll gradually ascend to the sacred lake of Gosaikunda, nestled amidst rugged peaks. The trail crosses high ridgelines and offers breathtaking mountain panoramas along the way.

An early start takes you over Lauribina Pass, the highest point of the trek. After soaking in panoramic Himalayan views, you’ll descend through barren, rocky trails to Fedi, a peaceful stop surrounded by alpine wilderness.

Trek Distance: ~12 km | Trek Time: 5–6 hours

Descend steadily through rhododendron forests and rugged trails to reach Tharepani, a small village with sweeping valley views and peaceful surroundings.

Trek Distance: ~14 km | Trek Time: 6–7 hours

Today’s trail weaves through dense forests and rolling hills before arriving at Melamchi Gaun, a traditional Tamang village rich in culture and heritage. Expect a warm, local welcome.

Trek Distance: ~10 km | Trek Time: 5–6 hours

Continue your descent through pine woods and farmlands to reach Tarke Gyang, a charming village known for its monasteries, unique stone houses, and beautiful mountain backdrop.

Trek Distance: ~10 km | Trek Time: 4–5 hours

An easy and scenic walk leads to Sermathang, another lovely village perched on a ridge. Along the way, you’ll enjoy unbroken views of Jugal Himal and Ganesh Himal.

Trek Distance: ~12 km | Trek Time: 5–6 hours

Descend gradually to Kakam, passing through dense forest, riverside paths, and small villages that give a glimpse into the simple, rural life of Helambu region locals.

Drive Distance: ~80 km | Drive Time: 6–7 hours

Leave the mountains behind and drive back to Kathmandu. The journey follows the Melamchi River through the valleys, offering a relaxing return to city life.

A free day to rest, shop, or explore more of the capital. Visit local markets, grab a massage, or enjoy a rooftop café view. Optional activities like cooking classes or a visit to Patan are also great choices.

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight home. Depart Nepal with beautiful memories of Himalayan lakes, sacred trails, and warm village life.
