Upon your arrival in Islamabad, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to a comfortable hotel. This is the starting point of your incredible journey to conquer K2.
Today, you will receive a warm welcome and a detailed expedition briefing. Your gear will be thoroughly checked to ensure you have everything you need for a successful expedition. Official formalities will also be taken care of.
A scenic flight will take you from Islamabad to Skardu, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas. You will arrive in Skardu, a gateway to the world of high-altitude mountaineering.
Take a well-deserved rest in Skardu. Use this day to double-check your equipment, make any last-minute preparations, and acclimatize to the altitude. The expedition team will provide a final briefing.
Embark on a thrilling jeep ride from Skardu to Askole, the last inhabited village before entering the wilderness. The rugged landscapes and the beginning of your trek await you.
Begin your trekking adventure from Askole to Jhola. You’ll gradually gain altitude while experiencing the stunning natural beauty of the Karakoram Range.
Continue your trek to Paiyu, a picturesque campsite surrounded by towering peaks. This route offers the first close-up views of K2 and the Baltoro Glacier.
Today is a well-deserved rest day at Paiyu. It’s essential for acclimatization, and you can explore the surroundings or simply relax at camp.
Resume your trek towards Urdukas. The terrain becomes more challenging as you ascend to higher altitudes, but the stunning vistas make it all worth it.
Your journey continues to Goro II, where you’ll be surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery. The anticipation of reaching K2 Base Camp grows with every step.
Today’s trek takes you to the Broad Peak Base Camp, a significant milestone in your journey towards K2 Base Camp.
You finally arrive at the K2 Base Camp, located at an impressive altitude. The iconic pyramid of K2 looms overhead, marking the start of your climbing period.
These 31 days are dedicated to the ascent of K2. Climbing conditions, weather, and individual progress will determine the schedule. Safety is paramount, and experienced guides will lead the way.
After your successful climb or when it’s time to conclude the expedition, you’ll participate in cleaning up the Base Camp area to leave no trace of your presence.
Begin your descent from the K2 Base Camp to Goro II, reflecting on your incredible achievement.
Continue your descent to Khuburtze, enjoying the changing scenery and the memories of your ascent.
Descend further to Mundung, where you’ll spend your last night on the trail.
Complete your trekking journey as you return to Askole
A jeep ride will take you back to Skardu, where you can relax and celebrate your successful expedition.
Fly back to Islamabad and return to the hotel for a well-deserved rest and celebration.
