Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, a city cradled at 1300 meters above sea level, you’ll be warmly greeted and escorted to your hotel, providing a tranquil space to recover from your journey.
Embark on a captivating exploration of Kathmandu Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, guided by the city’s knowledgeable tour guide. Immerse yourself in the cultural tapestry woven by ancient sites such as Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square.
Depart from Kathmandu, taking a scenic flight to Lukla. Your trek to Phakding at 2,650 meters begins along the Dudh Koshi River, winding through enchanting landscapes and traditional Sherpa hamlets, with a gentle walking pace of approximately 3-4 hours.
Ascend through verdant pine forests, crossing the Dudh Koshi multiple times until you reach Namche Bazaar at 3,440 meters. Revel in panoramic views of Everest and its neighboring peaks during the 5-6 hours trek.
Take a day to acclimate in Namche Bazaar, exploring its vibrant market, interacting with the Sherpa community, and optionally hiking to the Everest View Hotel for awe-inspiring vistas.
Embark on a picturesque trek to Phortse Tenga, a charming village surrounded by rhododendron forests. The approximately 5-6 hours trek offers captivating views of the Khumbu Valley.
Continue your ascent to Machhermo, a tranquil settlement at 4,470 meters. The trail, lasting around 4-5 hours, unfolds breathtaking views of Cho Oyu and the Himalayan expanse.
Trek to the mesmerizing Gokyo Lake, cradled amidst snow-capped peaks. The turquoise waters and the Ngozumpa Glacier add to the stunning landscape, with the journey spanning about 4-5 hours.
Embark on a challenging ascent to Gokyo Ri, rewarding you with sweeping panoramas of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. Descend to Gokyo Lake for a well-deserved rest, with the excursion lasting around 5-6 hours.
Continue the trek to Thaknak, passing through the Ngozumpa Glacier. The surreal environment and towering peaks accompany you during this approximately 4-5 hours journey.
Embark on a thrilling journey across the Cho-La Pass, treating you to stunning views of Ama Dablam and more. Descend to Dzongla, a peaceful village at 4,830 meters, with the crossing and descent taking around 7-8 hours.
Trek to Lobuche, nestled in the Khumbu Valley. The trail provides intimate views of Tawache and Cholatse peaks, with the journey lasting approximately 4-5 hours.
Embark on a poignant hike to Everest Base Camp, situated at 5,380 meters. The trail offers intimate views of the Khumbu Icefall and surrounding peaks. Spend the night at Gorakshep, surrounded by the majesty of the Everest Massif. The hike and overnight stay take around 6-7 hours.
Ascend early to Kalapathar for a breathtaking sunrise view of Everest. Descend to Lobuche for a well-deserved rest, with the hike and descent spanning around 7-8 hours.
Prepare for the Lobuche East Peak climb by reaching the High Camp at 5,770 meters. Enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding peaks. The ascent to the High Camp takes approximately 4-5 hours.
Embark on the challenging ascent of Lobuche East Peak, rewarded with panoramic views. Descend to Pheriche for a comfortable night’s rest, with the summit and descent taking around 10-12 hours.
Trek to Pangboche, a traditional Sherpa village with a monastery. The trail offers glimpses of Ama Dablam and other peaks, with the journey taking approximately 5-6 hours.
Descend to Namche Bazaar, retracing your steps through the picturesque Khumbu Valley. The descent to Namche takes around 6-7 hours.
Complete the trek by returning to Lukla, where you started your journey. Enjoy the last views of the Himalayan landscapes, with the trek to Lukla taking approximately 6-7 hours.
Fly back to Kathmandu, reflecting on the incredible journey you’ve undertaken. Relax and celebrate the successful completion of your expedition. The flight and transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu take around 35-40 minutes.
